My Australian Shepherd mix has very thick fur, but this soft t-shirt costume fit him comfortably. He refused to wear the headpiece, but even without that he got rave reviews from the Halloween crowd. A bonus is the fact that it is a low-maintenance costume---just slip it on and you're done; much better than other years where we spent half the night adjusting and re-adjusting the outfit we had on him.
